Tilitonse is a mobile funeral insurance plan which provides cover only for people resident within the borders of the Republic of Zambia and who if not permanent residents are working on a legal work permit for a period longer than six months. The minimum entry age is 18 and maximum 85 years.

Commencement of Cover
Funeral cover commences immediately after payment of the first premium and has an immediate cover in the event of for accidental death only. Full insurance cover for natural and accidental death will commence after a six (6) months waiting period provided that all premiums have been paid within the due dates
Premium paying Methods
- Premiums are payable by Cash, Mobile Money, Kazang, C-Grate (543 konse konse) and approved retail outlets
- Stop order (cheque through employers or direct transfer)
- Direct Debit and Credit Control (DDACC) payment through the bank account

Term of Policy
The plan has a one month term which is renewable automatically by payment of monthly premiums. The plan remains in force as long as premiums are paid.
Premium payer
Premium payment is transferable from the Principal Member to another premium payer within insured members in the family in the event of incapacitation of the Principal Member. The Policy can continue until death of all the eligible insured members provided premiums due are paid in full.
No-Claim Cash Back Benefit
Tilitonse has a no claim bonus this simply means there is a cash back benefit of 10% of the premiums paid in every three-year cycle provided all premiums due are fully paid in that cycle and there was no claim paid in the period under consideration .
